This study analyzes the professional development of school principals and district teaching technicians in the Dominican Republic, focusing on technological and methodological management. It identifies a competency gap that affects the effectiveness of educational management and student achievement. Its objective is to characterize and analyze their practices and skills to optimize their performance. The sample included 38 district teaching technicians and 29 primary school principals. The research highlights the importance of strengthening the training of educational leaders through strategies to integrate technology and methodologies in a context of limited resources. Its approach seeks to improve educational quality and foster collaboration between principals and technicians, promoting a positive impact on student learning and addressing the challenges of the 21st century in the Dominican education system.
