The current technological development of the industrial sector demands new didactic strategies that have an impact on the conceptual formation in Differential Calculus (DC), however, for its implementation, the current situation must be diagnosed. The objective is to describe the results of the analysis on the formation of mathematical concepts with digital technologies in engineering DC in the context of Industry 5.0. The methodology is quantitative and descriptive, the sample was intentional (25 teachers and 125 students). The analysis was performed in three dimensions: teaching performance, student performance and use of digital technologies (virtual assistants and Artificial Intelligence algorithms). The results show low teacher performance in the use of digital technologies, and low student performance in the development of mathematical tasks. It was concluded that the work with digital technologies based on Artificial Intelligence algorithms, which underlie concepts of the CD, should be enhanced.
