Manual for the application of the IATF 16949-2016 standard in production and maintenance departments

Abstract

The purpose of this manual was to implement theIATF 16949-2016 standard, in the production and maintenance departments of thecompany that manufactures rubber boots, in order to carry out a continuous and systematic improvement inquality bothin theproductionareaand in the maintenance,in addition to increasing efficiency in the production process; reducing waste and preventing possible defects.To carry out this, you have to be in constant training of CORETOOLS, whose purpose is to demand the highest quality of the process to avoid rejections by customers. Some results obtained in the production and maintenance areas were the diversity of items such as tire tubes and car mats;in the maintenance area,it was possible to keep the equipment in optimal operating conditions. As a conclusion with this manual of the IATF 16949-2016 standard,thecompany managed to enter the automotive market sector.
