Abstratc
Currently, anxiety and depression are disorders that affect the mental health of adolescents, having repercussions in different areas, such as social, family, school, etc. The latter being the field of study of the present research. The objective is to identify the level of anxiety and depression presented by students at UAP 06. The research is non-experimental and descriptive, with a quantitative and qualitative approach. The Hamilton and Calderón anxiety and depression questionnaire was applied to the 210 students of the first semester of the 2023-2026 generation. Applying personal interviews to the 17 students who had high rates of anxiety and depression, detecting causes such as: family situations, academic situations, loneliness, excess of people, others; factors that caused their school performance to decline during the study period.
