This article narrates my personal and professional experience within the Autonomous University of Nayarit (UAN), from my beginnings as a student at Preparatoria No. 1, followed by my studies in the Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, to my current role as a teacher and researcher. I share how my vocation for teaching led me to pursue a master's degree in order to improve my teaching practice. Likewise, I recount the challenges I faced in transitioning from an administrative worker at UAN to becoming a teacher, as well as my experience in research, which culminated in receiving the PRODEP profile recognition. This article aims to inspire both teachers and students to continue their self-improvement journeys, while also highlighting the fundamental role of UAN in shaping professionals capable of facing today's global challenges.
