Analysis of the economic impact caused by the COVID-19health crisis on micro and small businesses in Ahuacatlán, Nayarit.

The economic impact caused by the closure of businesses at the beginning and during the global COVID-19pandemic also wreaked havoc on micro and small businesses in the municipal seat of Ahuacatlán. This research has a quantitative approach with a non-experimental and descriptive design, the objective of which is to analyze the degree of economic impact of small businesses, whether it is the increase or decrease in their income. The research question is answered through a questionnaire with 14 items, of which 13 are multiple choice and one open, applied to 78 micro or small businesses in the municipal seat of Ahuacatlán, Nayarit. The responses show that a third of the merchants suffered a marked decrease in their income, due to the closure of their businesses at the beginning of the pandemic.
