The study analyzes the phenomenon resulting from the educational transition to virtual modalities during the pandemic, which generated significant effects on the learning of nursing students. The objective was to evaluate learning through the use of virtual environments at the Autonomous University of Nayarit, Mexico. The research employed a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional design with observational data collection and a non-experimental approach. The population consisted of 809 students. A questionnaire designed to evaluate courses supported by ICT was used, and its reliability was verified through Cronbach’s alpha. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics. The results showed a positive perception of virtual courses, with high internal consistency of the instrument. It is concluded that, despite technological and training-related challenges, students recognize formative benefits in virtual learning environments.
