Analysis of the literature on the aquaculture industry of shrimp production from global to local.

Abstract

A qualitative descriptive research will be shown, with the aim of knowing the situation of aquaculture in Sinaloa in shrimp production, carrying it out through a search in information sources and repositories of International and National Universities to know the progress of this sector, in addition to obtaining information with the main actors of the value chain through structured interviews.A break was found in the information chain between the private and government sectors, since the official information does not coincide with what was obtained in the interviews. It is concluded that, despite the perspective that Mexico has for 2030 in shrimpproduction, they predict an increase in imports and a decrease in exports, so the NAFTA and APEC treaties should be used to satisfy the demand from the main shrimp importers.
