Abstract

The present investigation, its objective is to identify cultural barriers within the classroom context, in students of the degree in initial and infant educationat the Autonomous University of Nayarit. This is descriptive study, in which a simple samplingwas carried out and the survey was used as a technique for data collection applied to 111 students of the 2020-2021 school year, of which 109 (98.2%) were women and 2 (1.8%) were men. The results on cultural-attitudinal barriers, were present with greaterincidence in: indifference, disinterest and exclusion in activities. The cultural-ideological barriers perceived the highest percentages were: ignorance of diversity, ignorance and lack of recognition. These measured indicators of cultural barriers are contribution to the design of strategies in order to reduce their incidence, as well as the implementation of monitoring and reporting protocols in the event of possible cases of harassment or discrimination.
