Theoretical analysis of Corporate Social Responsibility and its implication in SMEs

The current research develops a documentary analysis on how Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) apply Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in their different lines of business and learn about the problems that arise. The main objective of this study is toexplain the relationship between CSR and SMEs, as well as the impact that this element generates in their activities and their possible issues. To carry out this research, the qualitative method of specialized literature review was applied, therefore the data is extracted and analyzed from databases such as Scopus and WoS. The preliminary results show that there is a relationship between CSR in SMEs, showing its influence and relevance in the business context and integration with the community.
