The school garden and curricular greening in basic education

A work is presented that aimed to use the school garden as a strategy to green the curriculum, establish relationships between theory and practice considering the environment as a complex problem that must be treated from the transdisciplinary approach, through activities and meaningful learning situations that students and the school community in general can incorporate into their daily lives, in order to generate changes in the school community in terms of food, nutrition, health and a responsible attitude towards the care of nature . The cut of the research is qualitative participatory action research, the instruments used were a diary of observation and monitoring of the process, as well as evidence that accounts for the research. A work proposal is presented in teacher planning from the educational reform of 2011 involving strategies from the school garden.
