The objective is to design a model for professional development in diplomatic missions oriented to conflict resolution. The methodology was based on systemic structural functional modeling, and collective workshops of critical and constructive analysis for the validation of the proposed model. The result was a model composed of the prescriptive subsystems of the context of professional development in diplomatic missions oriented to conflict resolution, the theoretical and methodological projection of its actions, and its professionalized transformation. From the relationships of the subsystems emerged the professional performance of the actors of the diplomatic mission for conflict resolution, as a quality of superior order of the modeled system, understood as the concretion of a whole process of accumulation of knowledge from the collective improvement of the diplomatic mission
