Abstract

This research is based ona social perspective in the face of the post-pandemic crisis due to COVID-19, which unfavorably impacted students at all levels, aims to identify the factors associated with the educational lag presented by students from the Faculty of Communication of the Universidad Veracruzana during the periods August 2022-to January 2023 that market the return to face to face classes. It is an observational type of research, data were collected in natural conditions, without intervening, itwas approached from a quantitative apporach by using the survey as a technique for collecting data from a sample of 86 students of the 625 themake up the population enrolled in this degree. During the confinement they suffered anxiety, depression, stress, mental exhaustion, due to the contagion and death of a family member, coupled with the economic, health, and technological problems that Will affect their school performance just as it was accentuated during in person classes.
