Business model and their influence in the service sector. Literature review

Business models are tools that have contributed to strategy planning and the market innovation process. The article proposes a literary review of 40 high-impact articles, whose focus was the implementation of economic units applied to the service sector in the period 2016-2021. Business models have focused on analyzing the tools used for decision making and development within the market. Focus is placed on four business models: sustainable, canvas, circular and lean startup, which were classified according to their main contributions: models with a sustainable perspective, innovative solutions for the industry, new product-service systems and management and simulation of a business, respectively. The impact of business models has stood out in the areas of innovation and strategies, service design with competitive advantage, product-service systems, electronic commerce,air/public transport, tourism and the social sphere.
