It seeks to know the digital competences in the students of the career of Educational Sciences of the UANEN,the degree of application of the Office package functions, as well as the use of current trends: Prezi, Canva, Audacity, Movavi or OBS.The methodology used in the present investigation was an online survey carried out through the Google form to the students of the seventh semester, with a total of 76, where the instrument is a questionnaire based on: DigCompEduCheck-In Self-reflection Tool used by Caena and Redecker (2019).From this survey, it was possible to obtain results that show a gap between the use of Office and the new applications mentioned above and that are currently more used.This is why it leads to proposing the creation of a basic office package course and the management of the aforementioned applications in order to promote better ICT performance in students.
