The educational resource "Healthy Eating for Schoolchildren" aims to guide parents on appropriate eating habits
to prevent childhood illnesses. Based on nutrition theories and recent data such as the ENSANUT 2022 survey, it highlights the importance of avoiding ultra-processed foods due to their association with chronic diseases. The course is available in digital formats, with interactivity through videos, infographics, and manuals. It is structured into five modules that cover everything, from basic nutrition concepts to food labeling and family planning. It uses an asynchronous and participatory methodology, encouraging reflection and family engagement. It
concludes that food education at home and in conjunction with schools is key to improving child health. The course aims to empower families as agents of change to develop healthy lifestyles with long-term impact.
