This work has a quantitative approach with a non-experimental cross-sectional research design, the type of research is exploratory and descriptive since it is based on the description and use of a method of distributed parameters in the frequency domain for the analysis of single-phase lines. The results in the time domain are obtained through the Numerical Laplace Transform (NLT), radial and ringed lines are analyzed under different operating conditions. The results show the transient voltages at the ends of each element, thus allowing to know its magnitude and harmonic distortion to observe the attenuation trend presented by the voltage signals in each node of the network, which allows evaluating the overvoltages to which the study system will be subjected in order to design and operate it in order to withstand the efforts that these overvoltages produce.
