Abstract

Statistics mention in Mexico an exponential increase in cases of aggression towards women and due to the consistency of these acts, the belief about gender violence has become naturalized, allowing this violence to spread in the culture. Resilience is an emotional tool that allows us to adequately confront adverse situations, which is why it is of interest in this research. The study was quantitative, cross-sectional correlational. The sample consisted of 100 Mexican women over 18 years of age, their participation was obtained through a Google formsthat was distributed through social networks. The necessary ethical principles were respected in carrying out this research. The results demonstrated that factors such as marital status and school level influencethe levels of resilience and beliefs about gender violence in women.
