Positive parenting programs for parents of children at risk for development: a systematic review

Objective to identify the benefits obtained by the participants of programs taught on positive parenting. With a qualitative, documentary, and retrospective approach, the search for articles was carried out using the question designed according to the acronym PICO. Their search was defined in five databases: PubMed, Scielo, Google Scholar, Microsoft Scholar and Dialnet. The search period was from January 2018 to March 2022. The terms: parenting, program, positive, and ability in Spanish and English, with support from the Boolean operators and,were following the PRISMA parameters, evaluating the risk of bias using the JBI tools for pre-experimental and controlled studies randomized. The systematic review was conducted, obtaining ten studies as a result, which present the characteristics of the design and application of positive parenting programs. It wasconcluded they are programs whit a high rate of effectiveness that require specialization for their application, being specific interventions for the population objective.
